Retail Fitout
At Boardertown, the project involved the fitout of an existing retail space within a central Christchurch location recovering from the effects of the earthquakes. The brief required a fast programme of work to support a dynamic retailer and establish a strong in-store experience.
BSM Group Architects designed the fitout in coordination with the landlord’s structural strengthening works, ensuring the new interior aligned with the upgraded building framework. The design made use of the existing material palette, creating a cohesive and authentic environment.
The completed space supports a modern retail experience, with a layout and atmosphere that reflects the brand while responding to the context of a rebuilding city.
