I started my career as an Architectural draughtsman in 1974 starting with the Ministry of Works followed by private practice, joining Architects Southcombe McClean & Co (and later BSM Group Architects) in 1991.

In my career I have had a strong focus and passion for projects of all types in the education sector including ECE through to tertiary, state, state-integrated and private establishments.

My key motivator is in building and maintaining special client relationships, sharing my knowledge and leading the project teams through the often complex architectural and building processes and helping them navigate the latest procurement conditions and property requirements.

I believe good outcomes are achieved simply through good teamwork, communication and applying relevant best practices.

My interests outside of work include golf, wine and cooking, rugby and card nights with the boys and spending time with family and friends.
